Dr. Sasha StilesDr. Sasha Stiles earned her Medical Degree from the UCSF; her Master’s in Public Health from UC Berkeley and is Board Certified in Family Medicine from Group Health Cooperative in Pugeut Sound.  During her 20 years in practice in Hawaii, she witnessed how RNY gastric bypass gave patients back their lives.

After leaving Kaiser Permanente in Hawaii, she became Medical Director for Bariatric Surgery at Kaiser Permanente South San Francisco where she was instrumental in developing a gastric band clinic; an adolescent obesity treatment program and long term surgical follow up programs. Good evidence/research is a cornerstone of her practice, and she has many concurrent research endeavors in place.

In 2008, she joined Tufts Medical Center as the Medical Director of the Weight and Wellness Center and Clinical Professor of Nutrition and Medicine. Along with the Surgical Director, she has created a comprehensive weight loss and maintenance program for all patients, both surgical and non-surgical. The program includes conventional diets, structured very low calorie meal replacement options, medication programs and intensive pre and post surgical multidisciplinary programs. Her vision is to meet the needs of each unique patient.
